@ubistudio: The Ubiquitous Media Studio

Welcome to the @ubistudio wiki. This is a collaborative workspace for people associated with the Ubiquitous Media Studio. Please create a user account if you want to be able to edit the wiki, otherwise enjoy the scenery.

EVENTS

  • Ubistudio #2 WAS Thurs Aug 12, 2010 in San Francisco, a field trip to meet the Layar team during their visit from Amsterdam. Fun times!
  • Ubiquitous Media Studio #1 WAS Thurs July 22, 2010 in Palo Alto, CA. Thanks to all who attended, it turned out pretty well I'd say. Join our meetup group to get notified of the next event.

If you missed Metaio's mini-workshop on creating mobile augmented reality channels in the Junaio AR browser, here are a few starting points:

    • For a non-technical approach, Junaio allows you to post 3D objects, photos and notes right from the phone app with no programming needed. Read http://www.junaio.com/index/create for hints on how to get going.
    • To build your own custom Junaio channels, you'll need access to a server where you can install the Junaio SDK and run PHP code. See http://www.junaio.com/publisher/main for the developer info.
